Brand new Snoop Lion track “Lighters up” just dropped! Excited that I can finally share some of the stuff we worked on this past February down in Jamaica. Produced by Dre Skull and Major Lazer, featuring Mavado and Popcaan.
NPR Music just named Machel Montano’s “Go Down” on my Loudspeaker Riddim as one of the Top 100 singles of 2012! Check NPR’s full list for some great tracks.
Go check out Diplo’s “A Diary of Dancehall” over at Vanity Fair. Written by Diplo and photographed by Shane McCauley, the piece covers some of my work in Jamaica, Popcaan, Creep Chromatic, Passa Passa and a bunch more. Kingston stand up!

I wrote a post over on the Mixpak blog about the continued success of the Vybz Kartel single “Half On A Baby” and how it’s become the de facto soundtrack to a new dance, the Bronx Wine, that’s become super popular with kids in New York City.
Hundreds of kids of have uploaded videos of themselves doing the Bronx Wine to “Half On A Baby” (see a few examples here, here, here and here).
The above cover art video also just passed two million views on Mixpak’s YouTube channel! Thanks to everyone who’s been supporting “Half On A Baby,” the Bronx Wine movement and “Kingston Story.”
